This Chipping Sparrow is content sitting on her eggs in a nest built in the Clematis on our arbor. Chipping Sparrows are unafraid of people, allowing you to approach closely before it flies away.

Migrates to Southern States, Mexico, and Central America in flocks of 20-30. The Chipping Sparrow or "Chippy" is a resident of Pennsylvania only in the summer.
